[Life Intended] At a threshold?

Hi Reader,

From Kelly

Sadie wrote something new yesterday and I absolutely love her framing. Sharing it here because so many of us are in a “something’s changing” season.

From Sadie

Thresholds are the moments in life when you feel the ground moving under your feet. You’re not fully where you were, and not quite where you’re going.

Maybe you recognize yourself here:

  • You’re leading at work and feel the weight of expectations from every direction.
  • You’re returning after maternity leave or another big life shift and you’re not the same person anymore.
  • You’re burned out, carrying what you’ve built (career, family, responsibilities) and wondering what it’s costing you.
  • You’re ready to start something new… and the first step feels both right and scary.

If you’re standing at the crossroads with more questions than answers, this is a threshold. An invitation to step off autopilot and begin designing a life that’s truly yours.

Where we come in

That’s why we created Awaken: A Life by Design. It’s a 6-week journey to unlearn the conditioning that shaped your choices, reconnect with your values and real desires, and build the clarity, confidence, and self-trust to step into your next chapter without self-abandonment. (It’s live, guided, and blends reflection, coaching, and practical tools across six weekly sessions.)

We begin September 18 and you can sign up now

One small step this week:

Ask yourself: Where am I standing on a threshold?

Then choose one micro-move to cross it in the next 7 days. Examples: start the conversation, block 30 minutes to map what you want, or say no to one thing that drains you.

With you at the edge of what’s next,
Kelly & Sadie

P.S. Know someone on a threshold? Forward this to her.

Season 2, Episode 54: Mind Body Connection: Women’s Hormone Health and Nervous System Safety with Isabella Mainwaring

This Week on the Podcast:

This might be my favorite interview yet. Isabella is an author, speaker, and creator of ThetaSomatics™ who helps women rebuild hormone health by restoring nervous system safety. The conversation is practical, hopeful, and honestly a breath of fresh air.

Here’s what you’ll learn:

  • how to read symptoms as signals, not enemies
  • what oxytocin rituals do that dopamine hacks can’t
  • whether perfectionism and people pleasing are personality or protection
  • the best and worst ways to design routines that actually last
  • her take on blending Western care with holistic tools

Hi Reader, So many of us spend years looking outside ourselves for the next right move. We hire experts, read books, scroll through advice, hoping someone else will hand us the answer. Here’s the shift we’re inviting you to make: leading yourself starts when you stop outsourcing your power. You can lean on resources and wisdom while still remembering that you get the final say. Reflection, tools, and community are here to bring you back to what you already know, not to shape you into someone...

Hi Reader, Have you ever felt: "I want two things at once, and I feel guilty or confused no matter what I choose.” I want to work, and I want more time with my kids.I want to be needed and I want freedom.I want to reach my full potential and I want to rest. It feels like contradiction. But what if it’s actually your inner voice, knocking at the door? The way we’ve been taught to live is cracking. Burnout rates are at record highs, technology is accelerating at inhuman speeds, and many of us...

Hi Reader, If you feel like your calendar is running your life instead of you, you’re not alone. So many of the women we work with say the same thing: they’re accomplished, they’re holding it all together…AND...they’re exhausted. The good news? Regaining a sense of control doesn’t mean overhauling your entire life or burning it all down to start over. You can start with just a few small, but intentional shifts. Here are four that came up in this week’s podcast conversation with Human...
