[Life Intended] No one Is coming to tell you what to do

Hi Reader,

Most people are waiting.

Waiting for clarity.
Waiting for the right time.
Waiting for someone else to make the call.

But here’s the truth: No one is coming to tell you what to do next.

And that’s the best news you’ll hear all day.

One thing you're going to hear me start to talk about a lot more is self-leadership.

What is self-leadership and why does it matter? Let me tell you.

Self-leadership is about choice.

It’s realizing that no one is going to come save you, give you "permission", hand you a map, or guarantee that your next step is the right one.

Self-leadership is deciding to move first. Even before you feel ready, before you have all the answers, before someone else tells you it’s a good idea.

Most women have been conditioned to follow. To keep the peace. To meet expectations. To put their heads down and just keep going.

But waiting is a trap.

At some point, you have to decide that the only person you’re following is yourself.

I want to ask you a really important question: Where have YOU given up the lead in your life?

Ask yourself:
➡ Where am I waiting when I should be deciding?
➡ What am I avoiding because I don’t have certainty yet?
➡ Who am I letting take the lead in my life, my choices, or my time?

Your next move is yours to make. Here’s how to step back into being the leader of your life today:

  1. Make One Unapologetic Decision
Not a passive choice. Not a reaction to someone else. An intentional, deliberate move that puts you back in the driver’s seat in some area of your life, no matter how small.
  2. Stop Waiting for Certainty. Take Action Anyway.
Confidence comes from doing, not waiting. If you feel uncertain about the outcome, trust yourself that you can handle it no matter what it is.
  3. Keep Leading, Even When It’s Uncomfortable
Self-leadership isn’t about making one bold move. It’s about choosing again and again to trust yourself over the noise, the doubt, and the fear of getting it wrong.

Because the truth is, you’re not stuck. You’re just waiting.

And today, you get to decide.

Your life will change the moment you realize you are the one leading it.

What’s one move you’re making today to take the lead in your own life? Hit reply and let me know—I’d love to hear.

If you’re ready to go deeper into self-leadership, stay tuned. Big things are coming. You can learn to make these choices, to shift your patterns and to live a life that feels good. We will guide you along the way.

Hi Reader, Hi friends, One year ago today, I released the very first episode of the Life Intended podcast. Honestly, I hit “publish” with more questions than answers. Would anyone listen? Would they like it? Would they feel inspired? And now, a year later with dozens of powerful conversations, thousands of downloads, and an entire community built around the idea of living more intentionally I can say: it was absolutely worth it. This podcast has changed me.It has given me the courage to own...

Hi Reader, The personal growth world can be loud. And crowded. Fix this. Heal that. Optimize everything. Read this. Listen to that. Adopt this routine. Before you know it, you’re knee-deep in a list of all the things you need to change and all the ways you need to “improve.” But here’s the shift no one talks about:You don’t need more improvement. You need more self-leadership. Here’s the difference: Self-Improvement says: “You’re broken. Let’s fix you.”Self-Leadership says: “You’re whole....

Hey Reader, Have you ever looked around at your life - the job, the schedule, the relationships - and thought:"I have so much to be grateful for…why do I feel so off?" If that’s you right now, you're not alone. A lot of women, especially high-functioning, thoughtful, get-it-done women are quietly carrying a deep, unspoken question: Who am I right now? Not the role you play at work. Not the version of you your family depends on.Not the reliable one, or the productive one, or the one who holds...
