[Life Intended] 10 Lessons That Changed My Life (and Maybe Yours Too)

Hi Reader,

As 2024 comes to a close, I’m feeling an overwhelming sense of gratitude for all of you who joined me on this journey through Season 1 of Life Intended.

What began as a creative passion project has blossomed into a platform for deep, meaningful conversations about living intentionally in every aspect of life.

This week’s solo episode is a reflection on the lessons that emerged from Season 1 as I bring it to a close.

I’ve learned so much from my guests and chose my top 10 takeaways to share with you from this transformative season.

From trusting your gut and letting go of perfectionism to building stronger relationships and owning your agency, these lessons have profoundly shaped how I live—and I hope they’ve impacted you, too.

Here’s a glimpse of the lessons that stayed with me long after the episodes aired:

  • The power of intuition: Learning to trust your gut and make decisions that align with your values can unlock personal breakthroughs. (Spoiler alert - lots more on this topic coming in Season 2!)
  • Embracing imperfection: Letting go of the need to “get it all right” creates space for joy, creativity, and progress.
  • Agency and ownership: Life isn’t always fair, but when you take responsibility for what’s within your control, you can lead with purpose and intention.
  • Abundance over scarcity: Shifting from fear-based thinking to an abundance mindset opens doors to greater fulfillment and alignment.
  • The strength of relationships: Whether it’s family, friends, or colleagues, nurturing meaningful connections is the cornerstone of a truly intentional life.

Each takeaway comes with actionable advice to help you reflect, grow, and step into 2025 with more clarity and intention.

I also want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for the support, feedback, and connection you’ve all shared with me over these 37 episodes. This season has been a journey of growth not just for the podcast but for me personally, and it wouldn’t have been the same without you.

Looking ahead, Season 2 will return in early 2025 with exciting new interviews, fresh insights, and tools to help us all live with more purpose. I can’t wait to share what’s coming next! (And don't worry, I'll still be sending newsletters and posting on social in the meantime!)

But for now, let’s savor the lessons we’ve learned this season.

Thank you for being a part of this community. Here’s to growth, gratitude, and living intentionally—together.

With love and appreciation,

Hi Reader, Before we get into it today, I wanted to remind all of our local South Florida friends that tonight is our July Monthly Reset. Come join Sadie and I as we explore the topic of Boundaries, connect with other like-minded women, and reset for the month ahead. We meet at om shanti yoga in Tequesta at 7:15pm and would love to see you there! And now, on to a topic I think many of you who run your own businesses or are in leadership positions will resonate with! If you’ve ever thought…"...

Life Intended Podcast with hosts Kelly Berry and Sadie Wackett

Hey Reader, Do you ever find yourself losing it over something small, then wondering, “Uhhhh, what just happened?” Sadie and I have both been there. That’s actually how this week’s conversation started on the podcast: with a story about sunglasses, a slammed door, and very big feelings that didn’t make sense…until they did. Here’s what we’ve both learned on our journeys (the hard way): Most of us were never taught how to really feel our emotions, let alone understand them. We’re taught to...

Life Intended Podcast with host Kelly Berry and guest Ashley Jordan

Hey Reader, Have you ever confused approval with love? Think about that for a moment. That’s a big question. If we're honest, I think most of us have, at some point. We’re taught to be good, impressive, selfless, pleasing. We earn gold stars and praise and think, this must be love. But what if it’s not? This week’s podcast conversation is one we’re still thinking about and honestly, a message we think a lot of women need to hear. Ashley Jordan, lawyer, journalist and author of Unhappy...
